Membership
Become a part of the family. Find out who we are and what we do!
Membership is open to all and dues are used to benefit the local homeschool community as a whole. As a member of SHN, you are given a teacher identification card which entitles you to discounts at several locations such as Barnes & Nobel, Joanne's Fabrics and Eraser Dust. Other stores will offer teacher discounts as well, ask a store representative for details.
You are also eligible for two free advertising spots on our webpage. You can advertise your business that benefits homeschoolers. There is also a page for kids and teens to post availabilty for odd jobs such as lawn care or babysitting.
Membership allows you to participate in several events hosted throughout the year. Spelling bee, geograhy bee, science fair and graduation are just a few examples of the activities available.
Membership is $10 a year.
You can pay using our paypal account or by mail.
After you have paid, send an email with the application attached to shn_members@yahoo.com and your card will be mailed to you. Fill out the "Members information" form for us also, please. This helps us keep our information organized and easily accessible. Thanks so much and welcome to the family!!
