Your family is encouraged to participate in various activities, such as, Geography Bee, Spelling Bee, Science Fair, Mock Trial, Spanish and Art classes, Sports teams, Physical Education, Yearbook staff, Archery and more. The University of Texas at El Paso and El Paso Community College also provide dual credit classes to our high school juniors and seniors. Your talents and resources are always welcome. SHN is managed in sunny El Paso, Texas, situated between the scenic Franklin Mountains and the historic Rio Grande. Bordering Mexico, this area is filled with old western history. It is the home to Ft. Bliss and the U.S. Army Air Defense Artillery Center, Hueco Tanks, old Spanish Missions, and the El Paso Museum of Archaeology, just to name a few.
